Having worked with Joanna, she is proactive and attentive. She offers excellent support to both patients and staff and is a valuable asset to the team. She remains committed to maintaining her broad range of skills and as such is highly versatile. It has been a pleasure to work with her and I hope to do so again.

Joanna was very patient, and listened to everything that I, and my mother, had to say. She explained everything to me and was completely honest about my illness and the treatments available. She gave me some leaflets and some advice about self-help, and talked me through each, and gave me some recommendations about therapy and possible medication. I do feel a little bit better about my situation and what I need to do to move forwards.

I spent a day with Joanna within the psychiatric/self-harm liaison team, as a mental health student nurse. Joanna was very welcoming and her wealth of knowledge and experience quickly became apparent. Joanna was keen to answer all questions asked and also directed different learning opportunities for me to enhance my skills.

Jo is helpful, caring, friendly and professional. She gets on well with the staff in ED and interacts well with the patients, making them feel at ease. Having previously worked in ED we all value Jo & her input as part of our wider multi-disciplinary team. She arrives quickly when requested and has access to not only the Mental Health systems but also the ED systems making patient care more effective and easier.
