Carol has support my medication titration through Psychiatry UK. Even though we have only communicated via email, she made me feel safe and cared for. She took time to listen and respond to any concerns I had and was always knowledgeable and reassuring. Thank Carol, you have helped me change my life more than you know.
Carol was my nurse prescriber re ADHD meds. She was very knowledgeable and also listened to my concerns / suggestions throughout the titration process.
Carol was so helpful through the whole titration process, she was able to answer any and all questions I had, she gave great advice and eased any concerns. Carol was extremely responsive and would always get back to me within 24 hours or sooner. She followed up on any side effects or issues and helped me to work out the best ways for me to work with my medication. I felt very safe with her guidance and support.
Carol has been incredibly helpful with my titration process. Her replies on the portal were always really quick and she double checked every minor side effect to make sure that I was doing good and feel comfortable in the process. It was great having her as my nurse.
Professional and pleasant experience.

Profile
I am a registered nurse prescriber. I started my journey as a mental health nurse by completing the recognised nursing course in the UK. Since qualifying as a nurse in 2011, I have worked in acute inpatient and community settings. I have helped pioneered the start of an NHS Adult ADHD service in 2011 and developed the service together with a Consultant Psychiatrist and provided a nurse led service for adults. Since 2011, I have participated in training conferences to help train other clinicians who were planning to start an adult ADHD service in their locality or those who have just started working in an adult ADHD service. I have given talks about the nurse led Adult ADHD service that I have helped pioneered in conferences/training sessions.
I was voted Clinician of The Year in 2017 in the NHS Trust I was working with, and this reflects my dedication and commitment to continue to develop my nursing practice and deliver the best nursing intervention to those in need.
