Carol was wonderful in guiding me through the titration process for my ADHD medication. She always replied extremely quickly, was very knowledgeable and gave excellent guidance throughout and was clearly committed to finding the best solution.
I absolutely trusted Carol to find the best solution for me and she was extremely patient in finding the right medication and dose despite pressures on the service. She advised I try a second medication when I had suggested I was content with the first because her clinical opinion was that my symptoms could be improved more, and this was absolutely the right advice - the second medication suited me far better and I am so glad she was willing to take the time to go through titration again with a different medication.
I am am extremely happy with the service Carol provided and would have no hesitation in recommending her.
Carol was extremely helpful in guiding me through the titration process. Always replied quickly to queries and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Couldn't be happier with the care I received!
Carol has been incredibly helpful during my ADHD medication titration. Her knowledge and experience meant I felt in very safe hands. She replied to my messages very quickly and explained things clearly to me. I feel very lucky to have been supported by her during the process.
Carol was fab - very responsive and took everything seriously. Always offering solutions.
Carol has been fantastic, and extremely responsive to my queries. She gave me advice and support when my blood pressure went up, supporting me to safely reduce it while still taking my ADHD stimulant medication. She always responds quickly to my messages and answers all my questions. I would recommend her in a second. Thanks Carol, for changing my life.

Profile
I am a registered nurse prescriber. I started my journey as a mental health nurse by completing the recognised nursing course in the UK. Since qualifying as a nurse in 2011, I have worked in acute inpatient and community settings. I have helped pioneered the start of an NHS Adult ADHD service in 2011 and developed the service together with a Consultant Psychiatrist and provided a nurse led service for adults. Since 2011, I have participated in training conferences to help train other clinicians who were planning to start an adult ADHD service in their locality or those who have just started working in an adult ADHD service. I have given talks about the nurse led Adult ADHD service that I have helped pioneered in conferences/training sessions.
I was voted Clinician of The Year in 2017 in the NHS Trust I was working with, and this reflects my dedication and commitment to continue to develop my nursing practice and deliver the best nursing intervention to those in need.
