You do a great job at leading by example and always appreciated the hard work of your team. Personally, One of your leadership qualities that I always admire is that you fully engage when listening to someone (patients and colleagues)speak. You give your full attention by maintaining eye contact, nodding your head and always smiling. I have always enjoyed working under your leadership.

Bridget cared for my husband who was critically ill. She is an outstanding nurse, who's care was excellent. Under her care my husband was extremely well looked after. She is knowledgable and was able to explain things to me. I liked the way she spoke to him. Her personality is bubbly and she interacted well with my husband.I always had confidence when she was looking after him.

You and your family made it easy for me to look after your husband and it was a pleasure looking after him. I thrive to give my patients the best care they can I get, I am very pleased that you were satisfied with the care given to your husband by myself. I am also very pleased that he is recovering very well. Once again, thank you very much for the feedback. Kind regards, Bridget

I am a second year adult nursing student and i approached Sister Byrne and asked if i could spend the day with her, seeing what the critical care outreach team does and more about what their role is. Sister Byrne was very accommodating and arranged a day that i could shadow her. On that day we visited several patients that were at some point in their hospital stay deemed critically ill. Bridget had a great care approach that was individual to each patient and made each one feel cared for and safe. Bridget allowed the patients to have their say and to express themselves and any concerns that they may have. She was thoroughly professional throughout, with each and every patient and their families alike. It was a pleasure to work with her as it was a great learning experiencing in many ways and Sister Byrne is the definition of a truly caring nurse, something that every patient and potential service user could ever possibly want from a nurse taking care of them.
