I was put at ease straight away with such a great team led by Lois Delchar they were very cheerful and help full. I am 64 years old (young at heart) so i was not looking forward,and did not know what to expect from a hysteroscopist, but they did find the cause of my discomfort and now my mind is more at rest.

I found Lois very caring and careful in explaining everything, including the options I had. She went out of her way to put me at ease with her attitude and whole gentle demeanour, along with her team, helping make it a much better experience than on a previous occasion.

Lois Delchar, Advanced Nurse Hysteroscopist examined me at Queens Hospital today.
She was kind, reassuring, along with her two nurses in the room, I felt totally at ease.
Explained the procedure she was going to do. I felt relaxed and felt I wanted to
comment when I got home.

I have been working at Queens Hospital as a Nurse Hysteroscopist and Advanced Nurse Practitioner since 2005. I enjoy my role in supporting women with menstrual issues who are referred to my own nurse-led clinics. I regularly attend courses and conferences to keep my practice up-to-date to ensure I deliver the best quality of care to my patients.
