I was seen by Karen in urodynamics yesterday for a cystoscope. She made me feel totally relaxed and explained why I was receiving this treatment. She is very good at explaining what she is doing and why. I could not fault her.

My nurse was extremely knowledgeable about her specialty. She was both calm and reassuring about my case and was able to offer helpful advice. I felt that I was being treated with respect as an individual. She was someone whom I could trust implicitly regarding any necessary further treatment. Karen Parkinson, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, is a credit to Westmorland General Hospital.
