The booking in on arrival for outpatients was good. But there seems to be confusion in the waiting bays, ie which area to sit in to wait to be seen. I was told by 3 or 4 different care assistants to wait in 3 different areas - this could be improved., and was not very clear. Waiting times were reasonable. Parking was good. The parking system is excellent, where you take a ticket on arrival and pay before you leave - love it. Also I did not have any trouble finding a space, though my appointments were quite early in the day. Pleased so far......not had my surgery yet though....

Last year I have been diagnosed with a fissure, haemorrhoids and a fistula. All of this developed very fast in a few months and the pain was so unbearable. I was in so much unbelievable pain that I have booked an appointment with doctor Sharma at a private hospital as the GP was so unhelpful and would give me various creams and suppositories that would not work at all. Dr Sharma was so patient and understanding and explained what would be best for me. He assessed me in a considerate gentle way and correctly diagnosed me. Dr Sharma prescribed a really good glyceryl trinitrate cream that healed my fissure and moved me on the NHS. Initially he’s done haemorrhoids banding for me and then when I developed the fistula he operated me this year and literally fixed me! The level of professionalism was amazing! Dr Sharma, the consultant and the nurses have been very attentive, caring and altogether amazing on the day of the operation. Not only this but the operation was a success and healing fast and well. The pain after the operation was minimal and in comparison to the initial pain was nothing. All the experience was amazing and all went incredibly well considering how nervous I was. Thank you Dr Sharma I am very grateful for your help and very happy that there are doctors like yourself out there that would literally bring back one’s health. What a great health system with great caring people!

I have just spent one night on A4, I cannot recommend this ward highly enough. The staff were amazing, friendly, kind and totally professional. This is the first time I have ever had to stay in hospital and I couldn't have had a better experience. Well done and a massive thank you to everybody on the ward, you are all wonderful.

The two nurses Gayle lea and Debbie allsopp were lovely and friendly. Nurse Gayle lea did my blood pressure and fill in my health form, and was in theatre with me she was so lovely and made me feel so relax as I was feeling quite anxious when I first went into the hospital. Nurse Debbie allsopp look after me in recovery. So grateful to The NHS and the wonderful staff you have working at the Baguley pain clinic. Could you let the nurses know how well they looked after me please. Many thanks Carol Lowry.

I have had three operations and two children at wythenshawe Hospital. My Grandparents were also cared for there. Everything I have to say about this hospital is positive. The staff are amazing! I had an appointment yesterday and each member of staff I came across was friendly and helpful. It makes a huge difference when you are feeling a little upset before or after appointments or visiting someone. Thank you to everyone at Wythenshawe!
