All the staff from the lady that served the tea to the nursing staff were respectful and helpful. If its possible to say that I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone.

I have needed to visit the hospital in the past both for myself and relatives and therefore have had experience with different departments and have always found the staff in each to be pleasant, helpful and reassuring. Taking time to explain things through when needed and I have always been seen to in a timely manner. With the NHS struggling as a whole, it seems to me that High Wycombe Hospital are doing their best under very difficult financial constraints. I do feel that it was a huge loss that the &E department closed however.A

I had to have day surgery at Wycombe hospital. After all the recent bad press on the NHS, I was a little concerned about how it would go. I needn't have worried! The staff were so kind and attentive and the procedure carried out with great care and in a timely fashion. No private hospital experience would have been any better. I came away with great pride and respect for our hospital.

I was recently admitted to the Stroke Unit and found the level of treatment and care to be of the highest standard. However,it would be nice to have bit more information about what was going on at the time.

Although I collapsed after the mastectomy and had to have another operation the next day, I was treated quickly . The nurses did seem a bit short staffed, not always about when you needed them. The only gripe I have is the food, having had two operations I was not eating much but for breakfast one morning I only asked for toast, this was only toasted on one side! I also had a pasta meal which was inedible. Luckily I was not in hospital for very long. I did have to go back several times to have my drain emptied and the staff were all quick and efficient.

In Breast Clinic, the professionalism and care was exceptional. It was also rather refreshing and pleasant to be in a clean (!) environment, well done.
