First admitted end of August through AE for my gallbladder, from A&E, SAU and to Bonney ward where I stayed absolutely fantastic care. Had my gallbladder removed by Mr Thornton 17.10.19. From Sister Parry and her team at the arrivals lounge to the theatre staff, and Pasteur ward, cared for by Nurse Suzanne Pemberton, wonderful exceptional care, Clean, and professional from admission to discharge. I cannot thank everyone involved enough. The NHS is as we all know struggling, we are very privileged to have a free service when we need it, and I am very thankful to have received such wonderful care.

This comment is based on several trips, been here due to my mental health several times within the last few years and they do not do enough. Just sit down and talk to you, would of been much more helpful if they have out worksheets or did a bit of therapy or at least wrote to the GP to advice medication/therapy in the area. As for the Labour ward with my youngest who is now 7 months, I cannot recommend that ward enough, the senior midwife stayed with me the entire shift and barely left my side as I didn't have my birthing partner with me. If it wasn't for the team I would have had to of have another C-Section and a longer recovery. They really empathised with me and got my daughter out safely. Couldn't recommend the Labour team anymore than I do they are amazing! And forever be grateful they got my daughter out safely and quickly.

One star for lack of information. On discharge the consultant mentioned I needed to return to clinic. The following week and no appointment received I made numerous phone calls to enquire regarding my appointment with a promise from a member of staff stating they would phone me back.I phoned Mr Hickey s secretary and was given an appointment.

My mother was referred by her GP so neither an accident or emergency referral and penalised heavily! Made to wait for 11 hours and way into the early hours of the morning... She is over 90 and recently had major surgery...no medication...no kind words...no apologies... seen for five minutes and then told come come back the next day for a diagnostic test...Did that today and had to start the process again and wait in a and e for over 2 hours for the Dr to read her result before being referred back to the GP!

Hello. After abdominal histerectomy they left me in room, closed the door and bell was not there. I couldn't get up on my own so I tried to call someone to help me. Impossible...so I wet my self and bed. All afternoon I was like that... until someone desired to open the door. That is so terrible place. Nurses are not kind an friendly at all..sad but true. Doctors? With full respect to some of them, there is people who introduce them self as doctors but they should go back to school to start from the beginning..like how to approach to patient. And if I asked a question they were kind of surprised and shocked..sorry but it's my body so I think I have right to ask questions. By the way, I'm not British, not yet, but I lived in few countries and this is the worst experience I had in any hospital..and I was in few.

i was admitted 19/08/19 with pneumonia, i was put on the SAE/ Glyndwr ward. And i must say the staff were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. the help and expertise was second to none, i watched them deal with every situation that was thrown at them. i really must say it was a pleasure to stay there and fascinating watch them go about their work. i am now at home recuperating with the help and advice given to me by these fantastic professionals. THEY ARE GROSSLY UNDERVALUED.
