I took my son to A and E on Friday 14th 9.30. He was promptly diagnosed with an asthma attack, treated , given medication to go home. We were home by 11pm. We could not fault the care and attention given and the speed in which we were treated. Many thanks to all the great staff

I have had it with the hospital I have fibromyalgia and in a great deal of pain in my knee and back which is getting worse I am not allowed to see a orthopaedic consultant I had to go to some stupid multi skeltal who was so horrible to me insulted me and spoke to me like a child he called me fat!! He wouldn’t listen nobody Is listening to me the pain I am getting is unbearable I went to physio in Wrexham department 14 well again he wouldn’t listen because I have fibromyalgia they don’t want to know physio has given up with me nobody is listening to me nobody is investigating me I am just pushed away if it was someone who didn’t have fibromyalgia and had pain in the knee and back they would be investigated xrays mris but when I ask as my family history Is osteoporosis no he wouldn’t listen I asked why can’t I be investigated now this is a physiotherapist he said what’s the point you have fibromyalgia!!! So basically they have given up on me I can’t even see a orthopaedic consultant if I Break my hard or my leg I would be seen I am ready to go to the papers the way I Have be treated now I can’t take much more my gp is the only one who understands and sees the pain I am suffering with, if I had the money I would go private at least they would listen to me I am being failed and now on the edge with this pain I can barely walk I thought hospital are there to help and make you better not me

I have had two major orthopaedic operations at the hospital over a period of 20 months - fuse my right and then my left ankle. I treatment I received has been excellent. I have been given time to ask questions, had everything explained and have been able to see the resultant X-rays. The surgeons are first class, the nursing staff caring and competent and the plaster room technicians helpful, kind and skilled. Nothing has been too much trouble. I don't know what some people expect of the hospital but I don't think it could have been better. The only down side is the car parking but given it is such a busy hospital it is inevitable.

Had a laparoscopy and removal of adhesions and endometriosis yesterday. Dr de Silva and his team where incredible. So kind, caring and first the first time in a very long time of suffering with chronic pain I felt listened to. I cannot thank them enough for looking after me! I already feel relief and stitch work is so neat given the situation I then went onto pasteur ward where again I received amazing care although the ward staff where extremely overstretched! Even though some of the patients where in a lot of pain , we had to go home as there weren't enough beds. It's such a shame they where understaffed at one point and were unable to take their breaks which is highly important for workers , they need some time to get their energy levels back up to provide the best care. I also had to wait almost an hour to go to the toilet which I could clearly see was no fault of their own, it was due to staffing levels and shortages. They really did what they could with what they had and explained everything as clearly as possible to me. If only they where able to keep a few emergency beds spare then if you have more work done than anticipated you dont just get chucked out. But I cannot fault the care from surgical team to the ward team so kind and caring. I have every faith that should I have any further endometriosis surgery I will be in the best hands.
