Taken by ambulance to A & E arriving at 7pm on 30th April. I was triaged quite quickly and had an ECG and bloods taken shortly after. I finally left A & E at 10am the next day !!! A 15 hour wait is absolutely disgraceful. The nurses in the department were brilliant and were under so much pressure but they looked after patients offering drinks late into the evening and as I was diabetic provided with sandwich. It is only due to their dedication I was able to survive. I saw the doctor after a 15 hour wait, no examination, just told bloods, ECG were fine and I would be alright !!!

I hope this review is shown to Ruth on the Day Care Centre. May I extend my appreciation to her for looking after me on the Day Care Centre on 24.03.2022. She was so kind and helpful and possessed a true caring nature at the highest degree, making sure my every need was met.
She is an asset to the NHS.

I do hope this review is seen by Eleri as would like to commend her working on the Day Case unit on 24.03.2022 whilst I was a patient.
Eleri works incredibly hard attending to all the patient's care and needs. It is staff like Eleri who restore the good reputation of our NHS. Without staff like Eleri, our beloved NHS would certainly flounder. She is a very important operative who contributes much in keeping the wheels of the NHS turning
She is an asset to the establishment and a mentor to the students.

On admission you are requested to do a Covid test. No issue with that. But once admitted you’re not allowed to leave as you may lose your place.
After a 9.5 hour wait, not once was A&E cleaned or sanitised. So many using the same seats as a lot are not in use, due to social distancing.
Nurses were excellent, but wait times unacceptable, and very limited care and checks by Dr as so short staffed.

Went to A&E 3pm Friday, November 5, with heavily bruised shin, concerned it might broken. Was impressed by all staff and thoroughness of investigation, especially when they found problem with my ankle and had X-ray.
Turned out to be just serious bruising.
All staff friendly and professional and I was out by 7pm, feeling much more assured and happy with treatment.
Timely treatment, especially in these times.
Very happy. Thanks you A&E staff. Uh 6
