I am always treated with kindness and cannot praise them high enough, I am always kept fully informed and they are usually very punctual with my appointment times

Overall treatment towards my daughter was amazing but I was only offered one drink in 6 hours so was lucky I brought my own refreshments

i have attended this hospital over many years and had nothing but problems, and now i have had a letter to myself with another person's medical history and my data has been divulged to a place i have nothing to do with this has all come from one area in this hospital and i have found the pals team and managment who are dealing with this very indifferent to the serious issue this raises

Dr Christopher Marshall, fellow colleagues Nurse Lara gave a prompt, consistent, interpersonal communication within every level of the surgery. With great thanks and appreciation for your work. All the best

All the staff involved in my operation were kind and attentive. I was made to feel relaxed and updated at all times.

Admitted to Emergency Floor where I stayed for 2 days. A number of elderly, confused patients were in situ but the absence of any compassion/patience by staff really appalled me with arrogance & disregard appearing to be comon traits in medical, nursing & domestic staff.Ignoring buzzers & calls by patients to either use or be removed from commodes.Food served up & left on trays.Unfortunately one elderly lady passed away without anybody noticing. Doctors & consultants appearing without introducing/identifying themselves to patients;contradicting previous diagnoses ;unable to say when MRIs wil be carried out;discharge letters only partially completed. Corridors & pedestrian areas cluttered with trolleys & drip stands obstructing safe movement. Relaxation of mask wearing & covid protocols has obviously increased infection rate hence reinstatement on 7 July. Much was made publicly when this unit was opened but after several years the deterioration is quite apparent.

All the staff are nice and helpful, they are all ready to help if you have any questions or problems. Place is clean . And they all made me feel at ease, as I was a bit anxious and nervous for my operation.

I have had several operations at Worthing hospital and have been treated very professionally despite the recent challenging times. The staff, who clearly work hard, are to be commended for their professionalism. However my only criticism is the apparent lack of enforcement to the wearing of masks as Covid has started to increase yet again. I appreciate that the wearing of masks cannot be made mandatory and subject to a law currently but believe the hospital could take further action to encourage the wearing of masks. When I visited I could see the availability of masks and sanitiser however there were not enough of these stations. Nine out of 10 people were not wearing masks nor were any of the staff in the corridors. This does not instil confidence especially for patients and visitors that are classed as vulnerable.

Review of Chiltington
3rd July 2022

Chiltington Ward= Excellent service from all staff, nothing too much trouble. The staff were confident and never rushing. The food was excellent. Clapham Ward= The staff were good but often rushing and stressed as ward was often understaffed. Some beds were given to elderly confused medical cases who I felt should have been On medical/ geriatric wards. The food was excellent. The doctors on Mr di Nicola's team were excellent.
