Went into ane with a friend I used the restroom and it was disgusting in there, toilet roll all over floor seat was covered in urine I had to physically clean it myself before I could use it sick bowls all over ane waiting room the windows are dirty and full of cobwebs. We waited 2 hours for triage asked for a bottle of water and was rudely told no for patients only !! Some people have been waiting for more than 24 hours to be seen total shambles of a place. I wouldn't come unless it's totally necessary.

Yesterday, i went for day surgery at Withybush Hospital. The care was wonderful, the staff were brilliant, I did not hear a cross word all day. Considering that the staff have to cope with aging biuldings, they do an exemplary job. The nurses in recovery ward were lovely....AND the porters who accompanied me. Well done Withybush Hospital!

Where to Evan start ! Went to accident & emergency with clear tel tale signs of sepsis. The receptionist asked my symptoms and I was told there's nothing the Dr's could really do for me my symptoms are viral. Reluctantly the Receptionist booked me inn after hours of waiting I told the Receptionist she was probably Right and that I will just go home! With that my name was called so went in to see the DR where there was a language barrier in communication between myself and DR. Regardless I told the Dr my symptoms who had loads of tests done I was told I had an infection due to an abscess and sent home with antibiotics. Two days later i took myself back ended up being rushed in to surgery died put in to a comma multiple operations later. Very close call lucky to have pulled through From the sergons mouth what happened was dawn to inexperience on the medical staff part. Any other Dr who was experienced would have picked this up. Sergons and ICU staff where amazing! Once moved to word 4 recovery after ICU my wife refused to leave my bedside due to the lack of aftercare given Thank you sergons thank you ICU

My husband was referred to A&E by a GP with a suspected blood clot. He was seen by Dr Kelly within 25 minutes of arriving, examined, sent for an ultrasound, had blood tests, and within a little over 2 hours was discharged with a confirmed diagnosis of DVT, prescription medicine, and a booklet on his condition. Dr Kelly was amazing, calm, thorough and clear in everything he said.

I am on holiday and visiting Wales for the first time. I was really unfortunate to fall over and injure my hand/wrist. The receptionist and nursing staff were great and so helpful, the radiologist and doctor were also amazing. It was so daunting visiting a hospital that I’d never been to before but everyone was so helpful on the day. The problem I have is with the aftercare. The doctor in A&E showed me the X-ray and pointed out the fracture to me, he gave me a splint and some painkillers and told me the fracture clinic would be in touch as I’d need advice, aftercare and physio. The fracture clinic called 2 days later and offered no help whatsoever. I was so confused, and to be honest didn’t listen to a lot he said after he told me that they didn’t need to see me. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do now. I’m so upset with this. I am in pain wearing this splint and unsure what to do next? Can I take the splint off? Do I have a fracture? Don’t I? This shouldn’t have happened and now I have to wait until I’m back in England to get some more X-rays. It’s so frustrating.

The Bad. 22hour wait for an ambulance, left in a lot of pain an unable to move with a dislocated hip( thought it was broken) then a six hour wait in the car park to be admitted. The Good. Excellent care throughout 8 day stay, at all levels, apart from 1 bearded surgeon who dressed in scrubs and chatting up two nurses was put out when asked for water jug to be filled, I quote “ being a surgeon I wouldn’t know where the taps are) and then smirking to the nurses, shame on you, how do you wash your hands or don’t you bother.

NHS, Social work and mental health services let my uncle down, he passed away last week. There was 20inch of dust everywhere, i question infection control protocols. Staff no uniforms. The roof that was going to cave in was held up by stumps. Place should be condemmed. Not fit for purpose.

I just left very positive reviews about Dr McKeogh and Bronglais Hospital,.. and I have to mention Dr Bhan and his team in Withybush who did the diagnostic work that led me to Aberystwyth for the pacemaker. Top class care, swift responses and really personal treatment in Withybush - from A&E through triage, Ward 8, X-Ray and every step in between and behind the scenes - meant that it was a really efficient journey from diagnosis to pacemaker implantation. Thank you. I could not have had better service and treatment.

On the positive I was sent an Xray appointment within 3 weeks of being seen at the surgery, and I only waited 3 mins in the department. (16/5/22) Unfortunately the Person who carried out the X-ray was rude and abrupt, did not introduce himself, was not wearing ID or even a NHS Wales uniform (there was no logo). Whilst I fully understood what he needed for his x-ray to be 'clear for the Dr. ' he refused to accept that the problem I attended with made it impossible for me to place my limb in the position he obviously wanted, so without any preamble he just grabbed my arm and pulled it into the position he wanted. The result is that he has made the whole situation worse and I have been in constant pain since the appointment, and can no longer carry out the mobilizing exercises which were making the difference prior to the x-ray.
