Review of Kings D Female written by a patient
10th April 2015

I was not happy to be in hospital with an infection as I had been complaining about the pain in my knee on and off since the total knee replacement in May last year but my anxieties had been ignored. It hurt to put weight on my knee after I had been walking for a few hundred yards. On one occasion a colleague of Mr Thakur suggested I rub Voltarol on it. However, the staff on the ward were brilliant and I saw many examples of very good practice with regard to older and less able patients. Feeding, drinking and checking for sores were all carried out by the book. I felt safe but able to express concerns if I needed to. Cleaning seemed to be carried out regularly and thoroughly. I am about to get my 'going home' drugs after a long wait. That is one thing that could be improved. So I will get to the end now.

Review of Cambridge K written by a patient
9th April 2015

I was admitted to the hospital as an emergency to have a blood clot removed and a stent fitted. After fantastic treatment in the Heart unit followed by a stay in the Critcal Care Unit I moved to Cambridge K ward. The staff there were professional, caring and kept me informed of treatment I would receive and answered fully any questions I had. I would like to say I received the same level of excellent care on the other two wards. I cannot praise the staff there highly enough they are all show the NHS at it's very best.

I was exceptionally pleased with my attendance & overnight stay at the Rotary Suit. The staff were all extremely professional & pleasant & helpful. The wards are very modern with ensuite facilities & clinically clean , I was well looked after from enter to leaving.
