The receptionist in the department I was seen was quite intimidating and not very helpful. I have to explain a lot of things to him prior to listening to what I was saying. The senior nurse in the same department doesn't have an approachable attitude. I asked her a question and she already had an answer before I finished my question. I've been in the same department 3x and her demeanor is never approachable to patients to the point that patient were talking about her. I am not sure if its the pressure in the department or just her attitude. On my 3rd visit waiting within the waiting area, I was approached by a healthcare assistant and just said to me "come with me please". this is not even asking for my name first. She only asked me for my name when she already asked me to sit in another waiting area. From the 1st to the last visit, I had quite an unpleasant visit in Whittington Hospital, hence the reason for giving the stars above. I can understand the pressure we get from working in the NHS but I believe that if your attitude is already fixed, however easy or heavy your work is, you'll display the same old face unless someone will tell you about this.

All the care I have had at The Whittington Hospital has been very good. Reception staff, catering in the main restaurant and nursing staff. Doctors been good too.

Whittington is a great hospital with caring staff and I have always received excellent treatment. There are times, however, that things could be improved, e.g. I turned up for my appointment to see the orthopedic surgeon who had operated on my knee. After waiting for around 40 minutes, my name was called. I went to the desk just to be told to go to the Imaging Section to get my X- rays done. As X-rays are inevitably necessary for the consultant to fully assess my condition, surely I should have told to get my X-rays done straight away on arrival? This would be so much more efficient and save a lot of time. Otherwise, I am very proud of the fact (and pleased) that we have such excellent hospitals as the Whittington.

I have been both an in-patient and out-patient at the Whittington and I have always been very impressed by the care I have received. I can't imagine I could have had better treatment.

All staff are totally curtious at all times. All treatment I have received at this Hospital has been more than adequate. Only one complaint. The Toilets are not cleaned adequately. The cleaners do not clean around and under the toilet seats allowing a bild up of excreatment. Standard Bleach and a hard brush would go a long way to cure this problem. It might smell but would cure many a problem where germs are concerned. Keep the toilets CLEAN save lives in cutting down on infection.

I have visited Whittington Hospital on numerous occasions now and I'd like to positively feedback. The hospital is a fantastic place to receive treatment and the staff are always professional and attentive. I can't recommend Whittington hospital enough!
