I wish I’d remembered the names of staff members who treated me as I’d like to praise their efforts but I had just come out of general anaesthetic and was still woozy as I left the ward. Fabulously friendly, informative and hard working staff throughout despite the additional problems due to recent financial burdens and covid. Such good treatment.

Without a doubt one of the absolute worst experiences of trying and get help with mental health and autism I have ever encountered... They have wilfully lied, changing their stories/reasons for things not happening or taking place THREE times in a single day, each time deferring the fault to myself rather than simply apologise for the error and seeking to put it right (which is all anyone really wants). When this was pointed out and they were called out for it. They then went on to ignore every attempt to get the help required after the fact and the people on the phone act wilfully ignorant to the point of dumbness in a manner that seems to be purposeful and designed to do nothing more than further agitate people who are in desperate need of assistance due to already feeling agitated to the point of self harm. A second time of trying to engage with this specific group some months later, via referrals from a doctor (upon recommendation of a senior clinical psychologist) for two specific and separate reasons saw one of those reasons bounced back and forth before being ignored and the other reason totally ignored from the offset with a completely different (and utterly irrelevant) course of action enabled, an action which was already underway as is (and had been explained on several occasions) and therefore pointless as it meant a 6-9 month wait to get help I was already receiving. The point was to get additional help via specific requirement of an appointment with a psychiatrist. The level of gross maladministration and unethical treatment of people attempting to access this service should not go unnoticed and someone with authority should be investigating this specific group as it has come to light for me that I am not the only person they have done this to.
