My father was admitted to A&E before Christmas and was looked after brilliantly. He was transferred to the Acute Assessment ward then Nightingale Ward. Every member of staff was excellent and he received great care and attention. Once a care package was sorted out he was discharged home before Christmas, where he still remains today. Social services were efficient and the care plan worked well. Discharge can sometimes be difficult but the Charge Nurse Robert sorted everything out wonderfully and the staff that brought him home were very nice and efficient. His family hears so many bad reports about the NHS we wanted to tell everyone that the treatment our father received was exceptional and we want to say thank you to all the staff that helped Dad.
