I was admitted as an emergency following a severe reaction to chemotherapy. I spent time in several wards while a treatment plan was developed for me and throughout I was provided with excellent care. There was a small blip one weekend (I was an in-patient for 17 days) but it did not mar the overall experience. I felt the care at Wexham Park was far superior to Frimley Park where I was an in-patient for 8 days following surgery.

There was a lady in my final ward who had a severe mental disability and should really have been in a specialist unit rather than a general medical ward. I have already commented on this in a letter to senior management of Frimley Health Trust.
