I attended the hospital on 18th October 2021 for my gall bladder removal operation, expected duration 1 day. Left on Thursday 21 October 2021 after complications experienced during surgery and the extended aftercare required. The care and attention I received during my stay was exceptional. From booking in, through pre surgery, surgery, recovery, ward care and release, I was kept fully aware of every stage of my stay. All staff were professional, courteous and friendly, responding to any requests efficiently. During these times of Covid when the NHS is under extreme pressure, to receive such attention is only more commendable. I thank all the staff for making my stay as comfortable as possible during this worrying time.
