I have had two operations at this hospital. The first was about five years ago to repair a hernia. The second was on 23rd July 2021 when Mr Nabili repaired a cataract in my left eye. My hospital reference number is RTX8545588 and my name is Adrian Thompson. My personal thoughts regarding my experiences at this hospital I can only describe as Top Notch. All staff from reception through to cleaning ladies and Doctors and nursing assistants were outstanding. I regard myself as an easy going man and was pleased to find that everyone at the hospital was happy to engage in general chat, not only with myself, but from what I saw, with all patients alike. Such interaction, in my opinion is vital to allow people to feel relaxed in what for many could be a stressful time. If I ever need further hospital treatment then this is going to be my first choice. Both my procedures were 100% successful, . I thank you all.

I had surgery at westmorland hospital all the staff were brilliant, I felt safe and taken care of every step of the way ,things clearly explained to me and made nothing was too much trouble. They are heroes in blue

Everything was great at the hospital except the around the entrance where the litter bin was over flowing and rubbish, including PPE was blowing around in the wind. It is annoying that individuals keep adding rubbish to an overflowing bin but perhaps two bins could be provided or emptied more often.

I recently had an Endoscopy at this hospital. I was initially terrified as I hadn't had this procedure before and didn't know what to expect. I opted for sedation for this reason. The nurse who took my details on arrival was pleasant, extremely caring and totally put me at ease. During the procedure the staff talked to me throughout, they were amazing and made me feel comfortable. The aftercare staff like everyone else couldn't do enough for me and made sure that I was fine before leaving. I am due to have another one next January. I feel a lot more confident this time. An amazing hospital and equally amazing staff. Thank you.
