I received a THR using miminal invasive surgery at Westmorland General last Thursday. I was welcomed onto the ward by very friendly staff who were quick to ensure my stay would be a comfortable one. My surgery took place and was in recovery by 12.00 noon and taken back to ward 7 where I was given some lunch and plenty to drink. I was discharged on Saturday and would say that all the staff, doctors, nurses, assistants, physios, cleaners... everybody, were amazing, they worked so hard and everyone seemed so happy. A BIG thank you to everyone who made my stay as much of a pleasant one given the circumstances. Take care guys! :-)
