I was admitted to A&E, then placed on Aldenham Ward on Wednesday 27th November 2024 with severe dehydration and low blood pressure due to Gastroenteritis. The staff in A&E were brilliant and very caring despite the fact it was busy. They helped to clean me up and really looked after me. Once on the ward the staff were amazing, that includes the night shift and any helpers. I was in a bad state and no one seems to bothered that I made such a mess !! The nursing staff were very dedicated to their work. I also had good contact with a variety of doctors and consultants. The room I was in looked a bit run down, and was either very hot or too cold. I think the windows were in a bad way. However, I cannot fault the staff who work long hours and with such energy.
