1) The routine for food and refreshments was kept to and checks on blood pressure etc were made on time. 2) Food was good and hot with a wide menu. Could do with a calorie count against the meals as the menu is fairly stable. 3) Domestic staff should wear 'first name' labels as when you are greeted by them by your first name you cannot reciprocate without having their name.

I will miss all the staff. They looked after me well.

As I had a side room it is probably unrepresentative - but generally everything ok. There was some uncertainty about a procedure going to take place until the last minute - presumably nothing to do with the ward.

After asking if I had time to buy a sandwich, I was offered one immediately and also had a coffee. Receptionist was lovely, warm and smiley, most helpful. Although a long wait, everything seemed very efficient.
