I met Denise and Kim a few days after my colostomy. They were both fantastic in their own strengths to the care. Denise was great at explaining the basics of stoma care. She brought her warm and caring personality with her every day to the ward. Though I would not wish to have a stoma, now that I do I am glad Denise was there to help.
From Kim I learned many practical tips and tricks. She patiently answered my questions, and explained the support available to me. Again a really caring person.
