I received exceptional care in the Hatton Ward of Warwick Hospital and pay tribute to the incredible staff who went above and beyond to look after me during my recent experience. I recently had to receive care on two occasions within a month and required surgery both times. It had been my first ever experience in a hospital and I was very unsettled at first however, with this being one of the most challenging times of my life, the level of support I received during this time was extraordinary. I know they are all experts in their field anyway but I really feel that everyone who looked after me genuinely cared, which made so much of a difference in my recovery in such a vulnerable state and honestly don’t know where I would be without their level of skill and compassion. All of my multiple concerns regarding my treatment responded to clearly and thoroughly and I felt like I was treated not just as a patient but as a person as well. In particular my consultant Mrs Harris and the nurses/health care assistants on Hatton ward Fiona, Shaji, Claire, Jennifer, Beth, Amy, Sue and team.
