I was admitted to A&E on the 31st Aug after feeling very unwell for a few days and was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. I was on Oken ward for 5 days and Victoria ward for 6 days.
I am absolutely amazed by the care I received from the doctors and nurses. Without exception very single one of them was polite, kind and very caring and given the pressures they are under this is something I will never forget. I was released under the care of the Opac team and again the level of care was outstanding. Words can not express my sincere gratitude all of these amazing people.
