I underwent investigations at OHW 26 - 30/4/14. On 29/4/14 I was diagnosed as having cancer. Om 30/4/14 I was discharged but had had no contact with the Palliative care team members. At home I was very stressed so I had ascites which made me very uncomfortable and eating and drinking difficult. No emergency nurses or contacts were given to me and I had little idea of how things would proceed.

While at T2 in the U.H.N my husband had excellent help and attention form the W.S.P.C. ream - medesin particularly. He is now at holme towel, pananrth, where he has extended family and friends. Already he is content and appreciates the help and attention he is receiving . I've has only been at holme tower for a day and half, so we can't make comments on how you can improve your service I have a few thought which I will pass on to you in time Rechards Maggie Bosle.

It took 2 days before Palliative care team attended my mother. I appreciated that that is relatively quick but no one else was doing anything to relieve my mothers symptoms. Once the team attended - service was excellent and my mother had faith in what they were doing. Follow up support at home - by the team was unexpected. (By phone)

Joe was only home for 2 weeks so some of the question did not apply. The service we did receive was excelelnt.

The care provided is professional and compassionate, the three different nurses who have so far cared for my 100 year old mother who is receiving end of life care are a credit to nurses. Each nurse has more that fulfilled the above criteria, they have listed carefully and sympathetically to me as the carer and taken on-board my comments regarding my mother's care. I cannot speak to highly of the Marie Curie Nursing Care organisation who have kept me fully informed of the care programme and the phone call confirming the night care has been very reassuring. My mother has also said how kind the nurses are and she looks forward to seeing them. The nurses are helping to make her final journey more peaceful and less frightening. Thank you.
