The bouncer/greeter at A and E Sharon should know that customer service comes with a certain set of skills when dealing with people in pain and under duress. She doesn’t have these skills. Her aggression and lack of compassion reduced an 85 year old woman who was diagnosed with spinal cancer and pathological fractures to tears. She moved this lady, my mother, despite being told the back pain was excruciating. She then joyfully shrieked that she was off on holiday. No class, no professionalism, no compassion. She needs to be demoted. On the other hand, Shilpa, was excellent. Quiet, unassuming, calm but willing to help without fuss.
