The nurse I spoke to was great, she explained that I cannot be treated there and contacted a doctor on duty, she also gave me a referral to take to A&E as I needed a blood test. She called me the next day just to check how I was doing, which was very nice

It would be great if the unit offered blood tests and some urgent care, it would save people from having to go to the Royal Berks

Patient attended RACU at 2pm on 02/04/24 with shortness of breath. Sent home with Furosemide. Ambulance subsequently called that evening and patient admitted to RBH. Died 04/04/24.

Immediate referral to RBH to treat fluid on lungs, pneumonia and other unspecified infection

Excellent care. I was kept informed and the staff were all friendly and answered questions. Medication was effective. Follow up reassuring.
