I had been contemplating this procedure (bilateral breast augmentation with nipple lift) for 3 years since I had finished breast-feeding my three children. Having met with numerous surgeons, I never quite felt comfortable with them and decided to delay the procedure more and more. I was then referred to Mr Lambe and once I had met with him, I felt completely comfortable in his care and expertise, that I had no since reservations in moving forwards with the surgery and booked in immediately. Now 14 days post op, I couldn't have imagine how well this could have gone and seems to be healing well with no issues at all. I have been 100% re assured throughout the process and am very excited about the final result. I can't believe I could have ever re gained my pre breast feeding, pre pregnancy body.

I had surgery at the Wilmslow Hospital which is a beautiful hospital, scrupulously clean, and gives such exceptional care to each of its patients. As I have mobility difficulties, I was nervous about staying overnight, however, all the staff there were truly amazing, kind, helpful and attentive (especially nurses Niesha and Carol whose care was nothing short of exceptional…I’m so grateful to them... such wonderful nurses). The male anaesthetist doctor was also absolutely fantastic and I felt very safe under his care and expertise, and I was really surprised and so impressed how fast and well I recovered from the general anaesthetic. I was also cared for by a lady called Judy on the anaesthetist team who truly was an angel and so very kind. The care I received during my surgery from everyone, really was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Also I've been there for appointments before and after surgery, and all the staff are superb. It's the best hospital I've ever been too. And my surgeon Mr Marando was absolutely superb. I couldn't have had better care, nurses and doctors.

Everyone at The Wilmslow Hospital is friendly, polite, welcoming and professional. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone I've dealt with has been kind, patient and caring. The hospital is clean, fresh and modern, instilling confidence in the facilities and practices. I've never felt so relaxed and at ease in a medical setting!

The hospital lacks leadership and standards of care are not as expected. Very disappointed.

Incredibly inept from the outset. Wrong funding information given by the hospital to the Consultant’s secretary, on the day I couldn’t be traced on the list and was treated with close to disdain by a receptionist clearly lacking in the skills required for her job. Once I got over that particular hurdle and was allowed to take my place in the waiting room on the hallowed first floor, I was than called by completely the wrong name, which then became a subject of public hilarity at the nurses station. HCA keep asking me to fill a Patient Registration form which I’ve now done twice and won’t be doing a third time. When I finally had my consultation, it went very well and the doctor was lovely but he gave me a form in respect of my next appointment which 3 people at reception had no earthly clue about. I’ll follow the appointment regime for this particular problem but I’d rather have the short drive to The Alex in Cheadle if I require anything in the future.
