Overnight stay due to endoscopy. The only downsides were the fact there were joining instructions missing and about an hour's wait for discharge after being seen by consultant. The wire for lighting was missing but repairs in hand. Weirdly, got taken in an ambulance next door as two buildings (South and Endoscopy) not physically connected although only a few feet apart. Otherwise the care was superb, all the staff, cleaners, catering, nursing, porters etc were pleasant, helpful and courteous. One nurse went to get the discharge meds herself to prevent a longer delay for us, the catering staff kindly gave my wife the food I had ordered but couldn't have. My wife stayed near the Platinum Centre and chose to have breakfast there as pleasant surroundings and better value than hotel.
