Firstly I have to say I had nothing against this hospital and I was there even recommend to do the surgery here as it is mainly Covid free however now after having experienced their service I do not recommend Wellington Hospital if you have the option of doing your operation elsewhere. The private surgeries and treatments cost a fortune here compared to other hospitals and still you get a very substandard aftercare service . I underwent a major spinal surgery. The went well As the consultants are mainly top NHS consultants however the nurses lack experience and love for what they are doing. There were only a good few good nurses in the ITU department which I can specifically name as Jason and crystos but other than these 2 people I did not have a good experience with any of the nurses in th ward. They are very straight, and somtimes rude. They only do what they are asked for and tend to leave you on your own the second they do what you ask them to do. They are sometimes overwhelmed with their workload although the hospital promised a one to one nursing service pre surgery. I did not also feel safe after surgery due to some long waiting times between when you press the buzzer and by the time that the nurse attends. I was even left in the shower room on my own for over five minutes in the search of a shower seat by the nurse!! The heat caught me and I felt dizzy and fainted. All in all not recommend as there are many better hospitals in London specially for my condition which was a spinal surgery namely Queen Square private hospital.

Heart bypass surgery is a scary prospect, but from walking through the door into Wellington (North) to discharge 8 days later, i have never felt more comfortable or looked after.. Informed and involved at every stage, nothing too much trouble and a caring interested and engaged staff.. Top marks to the hospital, (and my surgeon Ms Jahangiri) hopefully i will never need the operation again, but i am no longer apprehensive. I can heartily recommend the Wellington.

The care I received at the Wellington was exemplary. The nursing staff in particular were calming, knowledgeable and friendly. I would not hesitate to re-visit the Wellington in the future should the situation arise.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hospital and the staff were nice but I was disappointed by my experience with my consultant mr Welck who seemed quite dismissive

Dr Gupte was recommended to me by my uncle who had previously had a great experience with him. My mind was made up from the reviews I read here and I am certainly impressed from the care I have received and would definitely recommend getting consultation from Dr Gupte. From my initial consultation I knew Dr Gupte was the right person for my ACL reconstruction. Dr Gupte will listen to you, understand your specific situation and make his recommendations best suited to you. Dr Gupte provided great advice on how to prepare myself mentally and my knee physically for the procrdure and post op care which I am very grateful for. Needless to say the procedure went smoothly and Dr Gupte was on hand after to answer my questions and ensure I was in the best recovery state. He is continuing to help me with my recovery and I am ever grateful to him that I'll be back to playing my favourite sports soon.

I was a day patient at the endoscopy department. I received great care from all the staff. The cubicle was excellent, private and to have your own shower, toilet etc facilities was brilliant, My nurse in attendance was Novadeen Brown who was with me during the procedure and on discharge. She also came to the street out to help find a taxi to go home, I'm sure beyond her duty and greatly appreciated. My Consultant Mr Obichere who had previously operated on me, was as ever excellent and I trust him totally The meal provided was again exactly right to follow this type of procedure. Thank you
