On the 1/6/23 I had the misfortune of having to go to hospital. By the same token I had the great good fortune of being admitted to the Ulster hospital in Dundonald. It was almost worth the worry of the uncertainty of what was wrong with me to be treated by the smiling, caring, and patient, dedicated Doctors and nurses. Having seen some of what they have to put up with, I really don't know how they keep their sanity. It's an old cliche` I know, but they really are worth their weight in gold. We should be thanking our lucky stars for the NHS system that we have, not knocking it. A BIG thankyou to all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff. Steve Sell.

Didn’t feel safe in the care in this hospital, not enough staff to cover the number of patients. Staff don’t listen to the patients and do their own things. Rude staff in maternity, after a traumatic birth I was refused help to lift my baby and help with feeding. Verbally abused by staff members. I have had a complaint in with the ulster since august and they keep saying no update no update. I ended up with abscesses in my womb following my care here and also my baby nearly died. Wouldn’t send my dog to the ulster

Doctors and nurses are brilliant. The support cleaning staff talk about what is wrong with a patient in the staff room. I have cancelled every single urgent appointment in the Ulster as the manager is turning a blind eye to this breach of patient confidentiality. I'm also an employee of the hospital and if they are openly talking about my private medical records I can only imagine what they are saying about the public they don't know.

Went to the hospital today with pain in back and chest. In no time at all, I had got a heart trace and bloods done. A very short while later I seen a Dr McMullan and he put me at ease right away.Again shortly after that, I had an x-ray and waited for my results About an hour and a half later Dr McMullan called me to tell me the results. Luckily, everything was good and I could go home. All in all,the efficiency and service was second to none.Would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone.

After a three day stay for treatment I have nothing but the highest regard for the Ulster Hospital. From A&E to the ward (9) all the staff were engaging and pleasant, the food was absolutely excellent regarding choice of menu and quality. Ten out of ten for performance - well done to all and thank you so much for my treatment. Andrew Derrick Boyd

I spent 3 days here just before the country went into lockdown and have had 2 follow up appointments since. I cannot fault anyone-from the porters, receptionists, nurses...everyone was absolutely amazing and if I ever end up in hospital again I know I will receive the best care, the best people and the most dedicated in their field. I cannot praise the staff in the Ulster Hospital especially ward4c enough
