When we were at the Royal Marsden for the first chemotherapy session, everything was very strange and alien to us. The staff were all very reassuring and put us at ease. We were unsure of how systems work so we were very grateful when my son’s medication was delivered to the ward and the medication was explained to us by a member of the pharmacy team. It continues to be an excellent service and takes away the news to go to pharmacy and wait for the medication.
