Review of Radiotherapy Chelsea
15th March 2021

The Brunel team were very professional and caring. The time keeping was excellent. Always asked how it was going and if I had any questions or concerns about my treatment. They introduced themselves and anyone new. They always apologised if they had cold hand. This all made me feel well cared for. Contingency measures were in place if you contracted Covid19 which was reassuring, and information about how to contact the team after the treatment was helpful. Please pass on my thanks to the team.

A big thank you/thanks to Dr Rachel Ralph at the Royal Marsden Hospital for the care and kindness whenever I needed you. Dr. Ralph today came from the operating theatre to attend to my request about my breast's rash. Dr Ralph took time to speak to me to calm my stress too, she is a wonderful and helpful first class Breast Cancer doctor. My thanks also extended to brilliant breast surgeon Dr J Rusby who operated me. The nurses at the Royal Marsden Hospital are wonderful and efficient. Special thanks to the Admin Annette who always greeted me with smile even though she is working long shift. Once again, thank you Dr Ralph, I am greatly touched. With love and best regards from Mrs Dalby from Kensington London

If being really picky, the queue for the blood tests was unusually disorganised - but really it wasn't a problem

I required the radiotherapy at short notice and everything was brilliant. The team could not have been more kind, helpful or supportive. I feel very lucky to be treated at such a wonderful hospital

Everything was perfect - lovely receptionists, kind and skilled radiographers who helped me with my neck brace. Nothing could have been better.

Review of Surgical Unit
2nd March 2021

The care given by the consultant radiologist and his colleague together with the nurses in that department assisting with the biopsy and the nurse on the ward who kept obs on me post the biopsy were brilliant both in physical care, explanations and empathy. I was particularly impressed with the fact that the biopsy was totally pain free when undertaken. Whilst I have given 5 stars throughout, I did not need any help with the sandwich and coffee provided on the ward but I was impressed with the care taken by Jes, the nurse on the ward who was delightful, calm and efficient and it was great to have the food and coffee come on a tray with milk, etc. I have not been used to such in other hospitals in the past. I have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the Royal Marsden in both sites and that there are lots of toilets which is a change from the old style hospitals! I should also mention the staff on Reception at Fulham Road today, 4 March 2021 who were welcoming which was great because I had telephoned to say I would be about 15/20 minutes late as my driver was stuck in unexpected traffic jams near the bridge.

Review of Endoscopy Suite
27th February 2021

They all looked after me well in the endoscopy suite, after anaesthetic the nurse was with me when I woke up & was there until I was fully awake.

Suggested improvements
The only thing I would say is after not eating for over 24 hours I was given a couple of packs of biscuits (5 biscuits in total) I did expect at least a sandwich.
