I have just finished my srereostatic radiotherapy under the guidance of Dr Welsh/Rosenfelder medical team
I was treated with respect and dignity
They answered to all my questions and concerns I had regarding the all procedure

The radiotherapy team were excellent they were always caring and asked how I was and had soothing kind words of encouragement to keep me going on the tough days. They operate as a highly effective team and nothing is too much trouble.
Their approach was highly professional which gave me confidence in their ability to perform the treatments and they worked well with the other teams when I needed help they knew who to call.

All the staff at Rapid Diagnostic and Assessment Centre at The Royal Marsden are fantastic. They are great listeners and they show a lot of compassion.
I class this as my safe place as I know am in the best hands at The Royal Marsden.

I was not an inpatient so did not have any meals at Royal Marsden hospital Sutton.
My treatment was painless ( Radiotherapy/CyberKnife) so did not require pain control.
Suggested improvements
The success of my treatment depended on maintaining a comfortable position with minimum of movement. I was receiving treatment for a brain tumour which required me to wear a fixed shell (face mask) to limit movement of my head. Some of the staff were better at positioning the mask than others. I found that if the mask was placed accurately, it was much easier to maintain the fixed position necessary. Accuracy is key for this. All staff were very considerate but I think a method of applying the mask should be a standard procedure.

The staff were incredible.
The reception staff were helpful, cheerful and well informed.
Tobi, Verity, Anna and Aisha were absolute super stars. I felt well looked after at all times and they were always kind.

The staff who looked after me for the duration of my radiotherapy were absolutely fantastic. From my very first session they were so reassuring and friendly. Through to when I developed side effects at they acted quickly and I felt like they really cared. It made my whole experience easier and I am very thankful to Kate, Maryam and Georgie on Reuben.
