I had an outpatient appointment on 1 Dec at 2:15. The medical staff were brilliant but I must raise a concern about the receptionists. They were constantly talking about personal and inappropriate matters. It was loud and distracting. I was nervous about my appointment and they made it a very uncomfortable waiting time. When a medical person came near the desk they were quiet but as soon as they went they started up again.

Suggested improvements
Please train the receptionist to be discreet and appreciate that many patients are anxious and their loud laughing and chatting about parties and their social life is not conducive to a calm environment
