I've worked within the NHS for over 30 years in clinical practice, what I saw today at the London Hospital fills me with shame. While most staff offered reasonable care others had a profound lack of care for patients and treated them with such little respect I feel compelled to give feedback. One patient in particular who very clearly had mobility issues and who was in such pain that she had tears running down her cheeks was left to get herself out of the waiting room chair with no help and no offer of help. I will be writing to Allen Williams, CEO. To express my concerns. It deserves to be in special measures.
