Just had our little boy Daniel by elective section on 22/07/20.. my pregnancy was classed high risk and as such I was mostly seen by consultant Dr Brennand who I trust implicitly and midwives prior to this. I cannot fault the excellent, friendly care I was given throughout. I felt really well cared for and monitored with a clear plan in place. A special thanks to midwas, Sharon (mat daycare) and Cathy Grant and midwife in training Margaret Torrance for their lovely caring attitudes and friendliness during apointments and the very reassuring sonographer who carried out my scans. The surgical team were all very efficient and explained everything clearly and concisely to me, putting my mind at ease. A big thank you to the lovely doctor mr Logan and the lady doctor who performed the section. I felt verycomfortable in the knowledge i was in good hands. My midwife MaryAnne was fantastic and although my little boy had to go straight to NICU for the day for extra help and care I was happy he was in the very capable hands of the fab staff there, particularly, Taylor and Sinead who were amazing. On ward 50 there are are many angels, including Jacqui, Sharon and Karen and the fab auxiliary who made the best tea and walked with me to Nicu and back and helped me. I believe in giving credit and praise where it is due and im really greatful for the care i received both during and after my pregnancy.
