Awful experience. The food is absolutely unacceptable, particularly taking into account I paid £4500 a night for 3 nights. The staff are way too busy. The person in the room next to me kept pressing the call bell and it would be ringing for up to 10 minutes, day and night. I was told at 5pm I would get my medicine in the next hour but no one came near my room until 11pm. I was fast asleep at 6am and an abrupt woman came in, woke me to scan my wristband and then I was left alone but awake for 3 hours. Etc etc. I was only in for 3 nights but it was horrible. Even on the morning I left no one came to help me shower, my first one since my op. My second time, I only went here because my surgeon operates from here. Sad to say the last time was identical. That was 2 years ago, nothing has changed. In total I’ve paid them nearly £30k for 6 miserable nights

I have already made my views clear by nominating one particular nurse named Ivana for an award – she was outstanding but overall I was very impressed indeed with the nursing staff and the care that I received at the hospital

I had a very pleasant stay. All of the staff (senior nurses, nurses and porters) were wonderful.

i spent the best part of three days here. if you have to undergo an onerous operaiton, this is a great place to get it done. the staff who dealt with me were great.

This hospital forces female patients to have male nurses for intimate care. They cancelled a life saving operation because the patient (a victim of trauma and assault) requested female care staff. I do not feel safe as a patient here and want to leave urgently but cannot get out of here without signing myself out against advice. Avoid this hospital if you’re female.

The staff were exceptionally good. Over two days about 15 different people knocked on my door and entered my room with a smiling face behind a mask. They were all efficient and made my stay highly enjoyable. If IU needed help they were there in a trice. The quality of food was good and I felt on leaving I was lucky to have that care.

The surgeon (Mr Haji) and his team were brilliant throughout as well as the care which I received from hospital staff before I went down for my operation however I was very disappointed with the aftercare which I received from the hospital staff following my operation. I was discharged from hospital at 10:30pm the same evening after having undergone surgery under general anaesthetic and despite still feeling very groggy from the anaesthetic, there was no suggestion or offer of letting me stay in hospital overnight to recover, I very much got the impression that they were keen to have the bed back. None of the nurses on the ward checked to see if I would be accompanied home by a friend/relative and I was left to leave the hospital on my own to catch a taxi home. The hospital didn't provide me with any aftercare literature either, just a bag containing my medication. I was very surprised and disappointed by this level of care from what is a private hospital.
