My overall experience of the Foscote was very good. The staff were lovely and caring and I was generally well looked after. However, I was in hospital longer than expected and as a result I feel I got a little bit forgotten about. I was given lunch after my surgery and checked on many times in the few hours after. But by 8pm, aside from a biscuit, I hadn’t been offered anymore food and had to ask for a sandwich. I was also visited by a junior doctor who told me some incorrect information about what had happened during my surgery which I found upsetting at the time. On the whole though the foscote was clean, the staff were lovely and helpful and I did feel safe there.
