I found the ever present medical care very reassuring, nothing was ever too much trouble to the nurses. The physiotherapist was very informative and helpful and allayed many of my fears about returning home feeling a little wobbly and armed with two crutches, but I needn't have worried, as everything I had been advised to do I did, and I have made amazing progress in a relatively short space of time. Mr Gibbs and Renee, his anaesthetist, were simply wonderful, I felt so safe in their care. It may sound a little strange but I enjoyed my short stay at the Montefiore and emerged with a lovely new hip as well! Absolutely zero in the way of complaints, I just sing your praises to whoever will listen!
