I attended today for a hip injection under ultrasound can honestly say all staff were amazing I felt calm and comfortable at all times . Mr kirwaoli and nurse Stella were exemplary

I attended Highfield Hospital to have a guided steroid injection treatment. This is the second injection I have received. The procedure was fully explained to me by Dr Gupta and I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr Gupta is extremely professional and lighthearted ensuring my comfort throughout. Dr Gupta’s nurse was Jane Denton and she was very knowledgeable and supportive of my procedures. From start to finish nothing was too much trouble and there are lovely welcoming reception staff to guide where you need to be.

Have had a great experience throughout my treatment! Today I have the pin removed from my toes and foot cleaned by a wonderful nurse called Kay Pickens. She was really caring and made me feel totally at ease! Thank you so much

When you consider that you are paying for the privilege of this service, it just isn’t good enough. Started off well enough and got an appointment with a consultant via my Private Medical Insurance quite quickly and saw the clinician about a week later. He then referred me for an MRI scan. This was about two weeks later and he booked an appointment with him for the day after (I did query whether the results would come through in time and was assured that they would). Turned up for the scan, eventually got seen and was taken through - given the canulla and then they tested whether the machine worked or not (a pumping system used in conjunction with the scanner) - might have been better to have done that earlier in the day and definitely before I had my injection. They tried several things to get it to work and whilst they did, I was assured that there was a plan b if it didn’t. Cut to them telling me after about 45 mins that they couldn’t get it to work and I would have to come back. They thought it was an issue with the batteries so they would recharge them overnight and call me in the morning to let me know what was happening and when I could rebook. I explained that I had a consultation booked for the next day to discuss the results and they told me there was no chance that they would have been available anyway! So much for the previous assurances. When no call was received by 1.30pm the next day, I rang and was told that an engineer was needed and they didn’t have a timescale - might have been nice to have had the promised call to tell me that. I’ve now had to switch to a different consultant at another hospital - frankly I have lost confidence in this hospital. I would go elsewhere if I was you! I have basically wasted several hours of work time that I won’t get back as I have to start the process again. They should remember that people are attending here for a reason and poor service like this just exacerbates the anxiety they are already feeling - and no apologies or empathy. Just not good enough.

On the 25 October I had a partial knee replacement. During my time in Highfield I was treated with respect and care . From the porters to the surgical staff everyone was helpful and kind . I was reassured all along the way and involved in decisions taken about my care . I would like to say a big thank you to Jane Bracey, Caroline Binns, KirstyStott, Tina ,Ann Lisa Gareth Paul and Jimmy you all made me smile, reassured me and gave cuddles in the night as needed. I was very anxious going into hospital for my procedure but all these lovely people made it such a positive experience. Thank you so much for. Would totally recommend this hospital for any procedure.

Procedure in BMI Rochdale. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the incredible medical team — Prof D’Urso, Charlotte, Nicola, and not forgetting Debbie — for making my lumbar steroid injection procedure such a positive and worry free experience. From start to finish, everything was handled with exceptional professionalism and care. The process was fast, smooth, and most importantly, I felt completely reassured throughout. The calm, friendly approach by the team and clear communication made all the difference. Thank you for the outstanding support — I truly felt in safe hands and will be recommending the service tp others.

I had shoulder surgery. Amazing treatment from start to finish. Mr Davies was excellent anx all the team were brilliant. First ever surgery and felt really looked after. 100% recommend. Nurses were all great.

It would have been a five across the board but private care can be difficult to recommend because of the £££. It’s circa a year since I saw the NHS GP All staff amazing special call out to Kelly And moving down the questionnaire a clinical provider asking what I identify as rather than what sex is ….poor

I had a total left knee replacement Friday 10th October, I cannot recommend this hospital enough for fantastic care. Especially a big shout out to Tracey/Janet who couldn’t do enough for me.. Thank you so much, would recommend this facility to everyone.
