All went well apart from difficulty in parking. The hospital is always under extreme pressure as Swindon's size increases faster than the infrastructure to serve it

The care I received was outstanding, I was very nervous about the surgery but was completely put at ease. The result from the surgery has given me my life back and cannot thank him enough. I was in constant pain which stopped completely after the skill of the surgeon. I was also given fantastic care by all the nursing and care staff.

The Dr was lovely, really helpful, Jess and Chi Chi the nurses were great, put me at ease. Overall, all the staff were wonderful, thank you.

Even though to start with I was in a corridor in A&E and they could not apologise enough for trying to sort me out there, as it was very busy In A&E. They looked after me, explained everything they were doing and why, excellent service and care. Cannot fault the Staff of the care I received. Unfortunately we just need a bigger A&E dept.

Prompt, efficient and very nice people. Could t be better. They took time and trouble to listen to me and addressed any concerns and issues I had.
Suggested improvements
Perhaps having more availability of appointments. I can understand why walk in sessions might be useful, but I’d have preferred more choice of when I could arrange to come in for a spect time.

At Great Western Hospital I felt very well cared for. Everyone I encountered was courteous, helpful and kind and cheerful. They took the time to give excellent service at a difficult time for me and the other breast cancer patients. The reception area at the hospital was excellent, very helpful.
