Excellent, caring, supportive staff/nurses
Good liasion between services.
Maybe bit more choice on menu for low fibre.
Nothing could be improved. The service I have received has been exceptional. The staff are warm and friendly and help everyone (including family) through a very tough time.
I can only agree with the findings of the CQC - outstanding.
I was asked to come in at 07.00 for pre-op but the operation was not until about 2.00pm - so there was a lot of 'hanging around'. Possibly this time scale could be improved - after the op - care has been excellent.
The biggest problem is the time you have to wait. I had a biopsy 18 April & was not {] on until 7th December. Trying to find out by helpline what was happening wass nye impossiible. If because of the volume of work waiting lists are as they are, clear information as to what is happening would save a lot of stress & {} from worry. i.e. knowing where you are up to.
GP took nearly a year to refer me to the clinic to be seen for a smear test to {} diagnose all the issues discusted with every part of the treatment by GP but since then everyone else has been great.
The whole Christie experience was one of calm, caring, efficient, timely, and always informative
Though my personal condition was quite minor, it was great to see how well someone with a more serious condition would also be looked after, and that felt good
Obviously I hope never to need the Christie Hospital- but for anyone in need, I wouldn’t be able to recommend it more highly.
First class,care and professionalism.10/10
