I have been extremely happy with the care and services provided by the Fittleworth stoma nurses. They have been extremely responsive to all queries I have had, and have arranged all the home visits needed, even at very short notice. Their care was especially valuable in the days and weeks following discharge from hospital, but continues up to the present day 4 months after discharge.

Fittleworth have been excellent since I came out of hospital. I have always been able to contact them whenever I need to. My stoma nurse, Karen Totty, has been really supportive and reassured me that everything is going well. She has helped me gain confidence and I feel that I am almost back to normal I still have a short way to go to get back to my full fitness but I am almost there.

I cannot think of anything that you could have done better. In fact Karen seemed to be more knowledgeable than the doctors and consultant about all aspects of my stoma care.

I was looked after by tbe Sheffield Stoma team,in particular Karen Totty, who explained everything to me. She ensured that I found the right unique combination of bags and seals that worked for me. She was professional,polite,very knowledgeable and visited as often as was necessary to provide the support and correct solution.
