I had a Sigmoidoscopy in the Endoscopy unit and the staff were absolutely fantastic. Clear & informative information, kind caring and empathic staff. Lina (Lumena) was just lovely. What amazing jobs you really do. Clean, bright surroundings. Excellent care, cannot fault this hospital.

Went in for day surgery with James Kirkpatrick which I was dreading! All of the staff were so lovely and made me feel super calm! Was looked after by Mark, special mention to him as he held my hand and kept me distracted from what was happening :) Was taken back to the ward for tea and biscuits. Excellent service.

Second visit to gynaecology clinic - Myosure procedure today. Nurses were absolutely fantastic. Was put at ease and made to feel so comfortable - made the whole experience seem like “nothing” yet it’s one that many women fear or are very embarrassed about. Special mention for Nurse Shirley - was there on both occasions - explained everything and couldn’t have been more friendly.

Staff were amazing in both day surgery and 23 hour bed ward. All made me feel really relaxed throughout my stay. Only downside was asked for dietary requirement and couldn't cater for non dairy

I have been visiting the haematology out-patient clinic at Stobhill hospital for over 3 years. Although the old hospital was horrible, the new building is extremely nice and clean. Nurses are always very caring and nice. They always remember me, ask me how I'm doing and have a pleasant chat when taking my blood. They also are a lot more efficient than in the old building and I don't have to wait very long at all. It's reassuring to know they are still a few caring people on the planet :-)
