I absolutely rate this hospital and would choose ot every time over any other NHS hospital in the area. The building may be older (great to see they are building a new one) but it just has a calming environment from the second you walk in (unlike Peterbrough where it feels loud and chaotic!) A volunteer greeted me at the door and kindly gave me great instructions on how to get to the day care unit, upon arrival I was greeted with a warm friendly smile. The nurses and doctors (despite working in warm weather today) were kind and calming, nothing was too much trouble..even the nurse took me on the wheelchair back to reception so I wasn't late for my lift as the single handed porter was busy...thats service! Fabulous job as always, the staff are an absolute credit. Stamford Hospital every time for me! Thank you all!
