I had replacement heart valve surgery here in October and I can't praise the hospital and all of the many staff that I dealt with both prior and during my surgery. It made a very uncertain journey almost a pleasurable experience. The hospital is extremely clean and I can't recommend it enough in particular Doulton Ward.

I've had several minor operations both under general anaesthetic or local anaesthetic and have. Some have been in the day and some out of hours and have also been followed up in outpatient clinic and had an outpatient MRI scan performed. My treatment throughout, from ED to the ward, to investigation, definitive treatment and outpatient follow up has been very good. All of the staff have been very courteous, friendly, professional and polite. Some of the nursing staff have even remembered me from my (short) previous attendances. Thank you all very much.

I have been a patient at the St. Thomas' Haemophilia Centre for over 20 years. I have received nothing but 5 star care throughout. I have access to doctors, nurses, physio therapists, counselling, pediatricians, orthopedic specialists and much more - all of them experts in their fields. I am always treated with immense respect and kindness. The staff at St.Thomas' have had a profoundly positive impact on my life.

Hospital denied care after I made a complaint. Blocked me from seeing my consultant, threw me off his books. My health deteriorated so I saw a private specialist who told me i do not have much longer. It is outrageous that hospital staff could be so malicious, vindictive and hateful.

I cannot thank the staff enough for their care of me after I broke my ankle. I had never been in hospital before as a patient, so it was quite a traumatic experience at first, but I never felt abandoned or panicked. Everyone was caring. Things like using a bedpan; although I quickly gave up my modesty, I never felt that I had lost my dignity. I am grateful to everyone who took such good care of me. Occasionally I felt that people were very busy; I might need two things done, eg to pour a glass of water and to pick up something I had dropped, but after the first thing was done, the person might go to help someone else so I'd wait before asking about the second thing. I found all the staff to be friendly and helpful, and that has continued with my care now that I am out of the hospital.
