Was a little confused with the system of booking in 'over the road' at the UTC but was quickly seen and sent back 'over the other side' for an X-ray.
Treatment was good even though the departments (A&E and UTC) were very dated and tatty.
I would like to add that i was horrified at the way the reception Manager (a Ms Morgan) spoke to a member of her team IN FRONT of patients in the queue. She was so rude and told the lady that she had 'defied her orders'! I have worked in management for years and i almost felt i needed to tell her that her behaviour was inappropriate to say the least.
After speaking to another member of staff i was told this 'happens frequently and they are used to it' Surely this does not still happen in the NHS after all the talk of bullying and harassment.
